EASY Theatre of Austin
EASY Theatre of Austin is offering homeschool theatre class in Austin this Spring. They are creating a brand new Homeschool Theatre Youth Troupe which will perform at the Dougherty Arts Theatre in May, and then they will travel to Houston and perform at to an annual Youth Theatre Festival and Conference this June.
A debate team for homeschoolers Home school families desiring to improve our speaking skills and learn how to debate! Join others on the ground floor of this exciting new club. We are starting a home school speech and debate club for home schooled children, especially between 11-18 years old, AND THEIR PARENTS.
We all learn together: children and parents.

CHEACT FAMILY CAMP
(SINGING HILLS SITE)
APRIL 28 - May 2, 2008
Come enjoy a unique camping experience for the entire family at the
HEB Foundation camp, 50 miles west of Kerrville, Texas on the Frio
River. Located on 1,900 acres, this ministry allows CHEACT members to
experience the beauty of God's Creation as well as drawing strength
from others of like mind as we strive to build our home schooling and
Christian commitment.
Camp is offered to CHEACT members only. CHEACT
memberships must be current and must have been activated at least 3
months prior to the date of camp (January 28, 2008 for this session).
The cost for camp is $41.00 per person (ages 8 - adult),
$29.00 per child (ages 4-7), and $10 per child (ages 1-3). This
price includes food, supplies, and cabins.

Envelopes containing your completed forms and full payment must be
postmarked by April 21. Any registrations
postmarked before February 1 will be returned unopened. All

New Support Group
for Families of Children with Special
Needs
I would like to introduce the CHEACT family to a new support group
beginning January 28, 2006 for families of children with special
needs.We will be meeting monthly in the offices of my pediatrician at
the Round Rock Medical Center, 2300 Round Rock Avenue, Ste. 102.
I hope to have guest speakers come quarterly to our meetings. Our first guest speaker will be joining us

Wildflower Center Fieldtrip
Dear parents and home school teachers
Our Field Study Teacher Training is back for 2006 at the Lady Bird Johnson
Wildflower Center. We would like to invite home school teachers and parents
to train to use our curriculum Exploring the Native Plant World. There is
still space available in both of our TEKS aligned teacher trainings covering
grades PreK through 6th.
