2008 Home Educators Conference & Book Fair
Palmer Events Center

Saturday, June 28 - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

The resources, views, and services presented by exhibitors, speakers and advertisers do not necessarily reflect the beliefs or mission of the CHEACT board, staff or members. Please seek the Lord's counsel and His Word as you consider those tools and resources which will best equip you to disciple and prepare your child to serve Him in the world.

  1. Workshop Recording: A CHEACT volunteer will be recording the workshop sessions Friday and Saturday. No CD sales will be offered during the conference. The recordings will be made available for free download from cheact.org in mp3 format following the conference. The 2007 conference recordings will also be available for download. Direct inquiries to communications@cheact.org.

  2. Book Check: A staffed, free book check will be availabe behind the registration area outside the Exhibit Hall.

  3. Children: There is no child care for this event. Parents are responsible for their children. Please remove disruptive children from workshop sessions. Strollers are welcome.

  4. Food: There will be a concession area in the Exhibit Hall. Palmer Events Center does not allow food to be brought in from outside to be eaten within the facility. There are a number of restaraunts in the area as well as parks where you can picnic.

  5. Parking: The Palmer Events Center parking garage charges a daily parking fee. You get three "in and out" priviledges per day. Ask the parking attendent to explain this.
